Re: [Collab] F2 - 2-7-0 - Better than Appletini!
So I actually mad a working pull request? Yay. I'm getting my hopes up now: maybe I'm not that stupid. Regarding the vehicles ammo cargo, I'm all for it. I've done it in Utes Landing already. Working a bit on ammo resupply and avoiding always ending missions firing an enemy weapon is a good point. R...

Yeah, soundmods are okay. I recommend you use JSRS or ACE_SM.
See there to have an idea of the mods you can safely use.

Re: [Sun] 28 Oct 2012 (Chernarussian meadows)
Apologies to the guys in Alpha in the first Takedown for a rather worrying landing. Hard to make with 2 FPS. Holy crap, that landing was done at 2 FPS? Very well done, in that case! I'll take your word on that, it was really confusing for me. I was in my final approach, about 60km/h speed, next fra...

Re: [request] SP practice missions?
About flight training/Helo insertions: I created on each map a really simple mission: myself in a flying chopper, 4 fireteams of blufor dudes on the edge on the map, and five sections of opfor dudes with machineguns and RPG. The blufor dudes start inside the chopper, and I have a radio trigger to ge...

Mamuto, if you're still curious about what happened in Alpha during Rolling Matryoshka part II, head towards the Commander's critique thread. I think you can find some answers there. Regarding the assaulting uphill thing. I've been whining a few times about this myself, but you have to realize that ...

Re: Commander's Critique
Well, I did end up having to lead a squad yesterday (damn I hate that. Still don't feel confident leading more than three guys). I inherited command of Alpha upon Wafflz death. The squad was bogged down in a massive quagmire, as we had been trying to assault that strongpoint on top of the hill while...

Re: [Collab] F2 - 2-7-0 - Better than Appletini!
For some reason I seem to have missed this discussion and the fact that a new version of F2 was in the works.
As I said earlier, if you need any help (even for a boring job) don't hesitate to ask!
Fer, any feedback regarding that execVM / spawn thing I PM'd you about?

Re: Folk Workshops
Oh man, those glasses. I was also planning on redacting a quick guide to Air Assault / Extraction simple procedures, for basically the exact same reasons you want to improve Armor efficiency. We currently have a few air assault missions (Wideola, Blackfolk down, the one where opfor needs to clear a ...

Re: Commander's Critique
After the taking of Malinovka and the consolidation of Bravo and Charlie at the hilltop, things fell apart because neither Charlie 1 or 2 could establish a good base-of-fire anywhere due to the peculiar slope of the hill. The rest is history. Hilarious, hilarious history. One thing I think is worth...

Re: Folk Workshop AAR 7th Oct - All About the Hummer
Well I just tested this again, and I can confirm that in a large part of the Zargabad buildings (assuming that it doesn't take you half an hour to actually frag the damn building, and that you haven't been shot in the process, which is higly unlikely) you might die due to the explosion of the grenad...
