Yeah, I'm actually just really sorry poor daf got sniped by a guy with a pistol on first contact. You should've just spawned at base and rejoined us. You had to wait a heck of a long time :(

I guess that's what you get when you're looking at other people's goats...

Re: [FRI] 25 JAN 2013 (FIGHT NIGHT, ACE NIGHT)

It was good, good fun!

Thanks Washington for hosting it. I'm really sad I had to go, but the wife got home after a long day... :)

It had an absolute blast on that first mission. It'd be great if we could get a few more people too :)

Kefirz, thanks for posting that! It's hard evidence that I survived past the first 5m! ;)

Really enjoyed it :) Gotta be careful with those wily stairs though. Looks like they are BLUFOR stairs!

Re: Script: Disarm and Surrender

Thanks for the info! I checked the wiki, which I remember being mostly just a listing of all available functions. Given how much modding has contributed to the longevity of the ArmA series, I'm actually surprised there isn't something easier to get into than that. Ah well, I might dig into it if I f...

Re: [Tue] 22 Jan 2013 (Captain's slog)

Rolling Matro This was like a nightmarish comeback of Sunday's session. Oh, it started well enough. Following StrangLove as part of Charlie 3, carrying ammo for Guus, and with EBass's timely arrival. Some very tense moments as we get surprised by some infantry down the valley and have move to the o...

Re: [Sun] 20 Jan 2013 (Lethal Ladder)

I really liked Fer's usage of one particular smiley, so I'll use it as well (especially since it's so appropriate!). Amphibious Attack I'm one of the new guys! I joined a full 10 seconds before the first session started, and 5 seconds before some other new guy joined! As it turns out, we became a tw...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello! I'm here because I finally have a machine capable of running ArmA 2 above 10fps. In the two-week run-up to getting it I've probably watched 10-20h of ShackTac videos... being in Portugal at the moment with an occupation that makes me disappear from time to time, I'm looking for something in t...
