Hahah, glad you enjoyed your first session Pepsi!
I'm not going to tell you how often or how early I died in my first few sessions... let's just say you're doing fine

Re: [Mission Feedback] Clergyman
Last time I was in the NW corner we couldn't see anything because of all the trees. I am hesitating to suggest thicker fog since it was already so foggy when Bravo got annihilated

Re: Arma 3: The plan
Mamuto, that is very generous of you. I'll think it over, but even though I'll wait to see how people get on in general, I'll most likely end up buying it, whatever the case. If only to try to justify a gaming rig eventually...

Re: Arma 3: The plan
To be honest, I'm mostly interested in performance... I'd like to hear some reports before charging ahead and buying it. Chances are I won't get another rig for a long time yet, and if A3 is much worse than A2 then nevermind that :( I've heard quite a few people complaining of FPS problems in FA mis...

Re: Arma 3: The plan
I don't think we can reasonably expect any switch over policy to be set in stone before the state of the alpha is revealed :) I will await and see how it goes. Once we get some feedback, I will consider purchasing A3. In the meantime, there could be A3 sessions some day of the week, like there are f...

Re: Arma 3: The plan
Do you get access to beta and/or final version if you buy now? Because it doesn't seem like it. Which means you're paying the price of a full game for an alpha, and when the game is less bug-ridden, you have to buy it again for the beta. And when that's done, you'll have to buy the final version. Pl...

Re: Introduce yourself
Hey Pepsi! Yeah, I'd suggest going to one of the main sessions on Sunday or Tuesday, 7.30pm GMT, or 8.30pm GMT+1. Both are fine for starters :) You're always switching squads in the main sessions, so it's actually quite hard to get to know people. I've found the skype chat (see the main webpage) to ...

Re: [Sun] 24 Feb 2012 (SuperStrang)
Hahaha, Terminal Boy ;) More great videos, Anvil. Although, do you know there's about a minute of black screen (except for text) at around 23:00 and 26:00? If so, maybe put a little note in there to acknowledge it, maybe say when the picture picks back up. :) What I'd love to see more of in Arma 2 v...

Re: [Sun] 24 Feb 2012 (SuperStrang)
The videos for Vanguard SE and Internecine have been posted above. They're still being uploaded/processed by YT but should be up & working within the hour :) Vanguard was a particularly hard edit since it was such a long, sweeping mission. Any tips on how to edit longer missions are very much welcom...

Re: [Sun] 24 Feb 2012 (SuperStrang)
Other than that, tips on FTLing are greatly appreciated! In my experience FTLing so far, the best advice I can offer is to actually fire your weapon as little as possible. You're going to be much more deadly using binocs to call targets for your team. Talking up the chain of command is also importa...
