Re: No Rangefinder? No Problem!
Next, I'll bring up my map and place the compass directly over my position . I had never ever noticed the ...

Re: A3 gear, weights, capacities spreadsheet
A bit late, but nevertheless, updated spreadsheet for 1.12. The changes were very minor this time around, here's a Winmerge-generated report.

I will miss the forests of Chernarus and playing as NAPA guerrillas. There's just something about jeans and Bundeswehr parkas. Oh, and shitty AKs. Not because they're shitty, but because they usually make engagements more close and personal. My secret dream is that a mod team uses the resources BI r...

Re: What are your top tips for new mission makers?
Simple missions are often the best ones. You don't need to have anything fancy in a mission, just players, enemies and suitable terrain in between. Find a place on the map that looks interesting to fight in. Figure out where the players start and where they need to go. Create a few enemy groups of 6...

Re: The Revolution and You(tube)
Just a thought, but if we run out of space or can't use AkKind's server for whatever reason maybe we could supplement it with dropbox - I'm not very handy with it myself, but I could look into setting something up if needed. Be thou warned, Dropbox often has pretty awful upload rates for big files....

Re: The Revolution and You(tube)
- Pooling the footage? I think using an FTP would be the easiest and (hopefully) the most reliable way. YouTube's upload and download speeds are often all over the place. Can you give any ballpark estimate on how many gigs of working space you'd need on an FTP for this purpose? Very hypothetically ...
