A peak 17 brigade fighters awaited the return of audiox. At the first light of the third mission, we landed with the objective to the east. But he did not appear  And so, we died.

Our first mission was a struggle to regain momentum and cohesion as our ASL took a burst of .50 cal in the first engagement. That, mixed with a couple terrifyingly close IEDs, resulted in NATO successfully surrounding and destroying us.

After that, we attempted to scale some towers. We got into one, but got trapped in it while hungry minigun hawks circled us like the carrion-eaters they are. Eventually the Ghosthawks enlisted the help of an SPG technical to crack our tower open, and feasted on our squishy innards.

Following our two failed attacks, we tried to employ a little more speed and aggression on Tanoa. But we got blocked by an autocannon, and promptly had a platoon of infantry run up on us from behind. A swift and clever plan on Syndikat's side, at least.

Finally, we figured out that a more methodical pace might be beneficial. A romp through the woods and in and out of bunkers led to our first and only victory of the evening (despite Chrio's best efforts on the mortars).

Runlist:
  • Cancon Ridge [Co-op]
  • 3IFB: Black Flag [Co-op]
  • Syndikat Dance [Co-op]
  • Roztruckas [Co-op]
  • The Crucible [Afterparty]
  • Rally Malden [Afterparty]
Players are reminded that fireteam cohesion is a vital principle in infantry combat (and strictly enforced by Teifi's UGL :commissar:).
