18 drunk Bostonians got ready to sing Auld Lang Syne out of tune by showing up to the first Folk ARPS Sunday Session of 2022.

First up this year was a skirmish on Malden between 3 rival guerrilla factions. Despite our best efforts to friendly fire and get involved, much of the enemies had killed each other off by the time we really got tangled up with them. By the end of it we still had some friendly guerrillas alive!

Next we rode our first helicopters of the year, rushing to relieve an endangered AI squad. Our rescue went swimmingly, except for a handful (including our CO) who got clapped by the marauding Panthers and Hunter swarming the tiny outpost. After that, though, there was still another half of the mission to complete. Using the bold tactic of letting our transport helicopter carrying our entire infantry force get shot at a bunch for 5 minutes, we soaked up most of the ammo of the defenders in the target town. This let us get into town, but enemy reinforcements soon arrived, outflanked, and surrounded our assault element, killing us off one by one.

Coming out of that we elected to visit our tropical vacation favorite, Tanoa. With what was only a small amount of confusion with new communication tools and logistics scripts, our convoy of hunters and a civilian van blasted through several Syndikat roadblocks to the exit.

Finally we went north to cozy Livonia, identified at least three buildings as potential Dachas, and swept through a town. By the end of it, Palmzia still had a full fireteam at his disposal, no one got friendly fired by a hand grenade they just passed out, and we successfully captured a critical sawmill.
