A tight 15 people came to kick open doors, jump out of helicopters, dodge SPG rounds, and maybe make it out alive.

We started with a quick run of hostage rescuing, which started with a shock as some very talented FIA hostage takers pushed us at our parking spot. We took some shots early on, but stayed focused and organized and swept around as planned. We took a few more casualties clearing the area, some but not all caused by the enemy, but overall accomplished the mission pretty effectively.

Our second mission of the evening became a marathon. Hunting caches on the northeast of Altis, we managed to not die to a handful of HMGs. We got screwed over by our supply jerks back at HQ though, and had to go back for more satchels after only having one when we got the first objective area. This meant one cache was left in the first area, which would come back to haunt us. We travelled to the second area where caches were, again dodging HMG fire in addition to all the small arms fire FIA could bring to bear. We cleared out these caches quite effectively having stocked up on satchels, and we almost got out unscathed. And then the TH blew up... And then Gorgons and Nyxes rolled up. My AH got taken down for the fourth and fifth time, eventually running out of fuel, so it was up to the infantry to clear enough of an area for the TH to come in.

This.. took awhile... Eventually the new TH2 was able to make it in and everyone got out safely! Our brave CO had a personal quest for revenge against that cache left behind in the first half of the mission, and sent the squad back into the fray to try to clean that cache up. FIA was ready for us this time, and wiped us out within a couple minutes back at the first cache area.

Having had our fill of helicopters, we took a stroll through Livonia under the watchful gaze of a Wipeout. This was a more relaxed romp, interrupted occasionally by platoons of infantry or well placed SPG shots. Thanks to our graceful aircraft above blasting away with guns and rockets, some of us managed to make it out with all objectives complete.
