[Sun] 29 Jan 2023 (F(I)A's Night Out)

Post by Lexer »

A cool 15 guests showed up for night's chaos of FIA vs CSAT.

First, we (as CSAT) swept through the Malden countryside and successfully cleared three compounds of FIA rebels.
Next, FIA tried to steal a AAA piece and kill some VTOLs with it. It was all going so well.. until it wasn't. After being pinned by an Ifrit HMG, trying to flank around it, getting pinned by an Ifrit GMG instead (probably a bad trade), FIA were whittled down and took cover under a bridge. Unfortunately, they had taken too long and CSAT's VTOLs descended and finished off FIA with some well placed rockets.
Next, FIA attacked the CSAT occupied town of Sofia. It was a bit of a slog, but FIA successfully cleared the town in the end.
Finally, FIA had set fire to the town of Kavala and CSAT was sent in to restore the (a) peace. CSAT managed to rescue the hostages from FIA and neutralise a downed gunship, but were then wiped out by the tank (!) FIA had somehow acquired.

The missions we played:
  • Lost Sector: La Trinite North [Co-op] (Replay)
  • Xi'anicide [Co-op] (Replay)
  • SoFIA So Good [Co-op] (Replay)
  • Kavala in Chaos [Co-op] (Replay)

You can review the missions we played tonight to improve your combat effectiveness score, using our OCAP2 Mission Replay System, for which there is also a companion mod. Remember, the Party is always watching! And so are your friends. From the grave. Where you put them. You monster.

You may have noticed that some people have FA flags all over them. You may have thought "wow, what a cool guy! I want to be like them when I grow up!" Well, there's no need to grow up just yet. Instead, click on this link here and you too can have an FA flag of your own. (now with lots of extra cool designs to choose from!)

One last thing! If you would like to contribute to the server fund that allows FA to keep running sessions, you can PayPal your last grubby potato using the Party's new and improved donation service
Ask and you shall receive
