[GM] 6th May 2023 (Small Team, Big Success)

Post by Lexer »

9 cool Comrades came to this CDLC Cold War session (on this day known for another "C")

First up, we revitalised a tourist destination by clearing some compounds of AA assets (apparently those sights are to die for). Next, we got captured by the enemy. That should have been the end but then we staged a break out with the help of some flying death (turns out a 20mm cannon is as good as a master key), and then romped around causing some chaos behind enemy lines before escaping to friendly forces. After that, we performed some special operations on an island nation to help the local government put down an insurgency we definitely had 0% involvement funding in the first place. We even got our very own Hind to take us forth. Finally, we escorted a VIP out of Pygros. Sadly he succumbed to some hungry local geometry, there was nothing we could do! (that's what the official report says anyway :cop: )

The missions we played:
  • Trip Hazard [Co-op]
  • No Easy Way Out [Co-op]
  • East Hindia Trading [Co-op]
  • Diplomatic Immunity [90] [Co-op]

If you enjoyed tonight's session, please consider contributing to the server fund that allows FA to keep running sessions. You can PayPal your last grubby potato using the Party's donation service

You may have noticed that some people have FA flags all over them. You may have thought "wow, what a cool guy! I want to be like them when I grow up!" Well, there's no need to grow up just yet. Instead, click on this link here and you too can have an FA flag of your own. (now with lots of extra cool designs to choose from!)

You can review the missions we played tonight to improve your combat effectiveness score, using our OCAP2 Mission Replay System, for which there is also a companion mod. Remember, the Party is always watching! And so are your friends. From the grave. Where you put them. You monster.
