Tonight we were joined by 13 awesome friends for a session where we learned to beware the mission names.

First up, we tried to steal a van back from a rival gang. What followed was a Nightmare: team after team being fed to the meat grinder; gendarme all jumping out their van and being immediately gunned down; cats eating dogs (or at least MMG shooting at A2). Thankfully we did awaken, and manage to retrieve the van we were after.

Next up, we tried to destroy some spicy hardware AAF had somehow acquired. Despite the (very effective) aid of a Warthog Wipeout Gunship, many horrors lurked in the fog. One of which was a very accurate HMG...

After that, we again tried blowing up things the enemy shouldn't have. And despite the Recon Lead eating a HMG round (sound familiar), the rest of the team successfully brought down the Hammer of the Gods (or at least a few well-placed cruise missiles) on the enemy.

Finally, we got sent on a very legitimate assassination mission. It was all going so well, starting off with a very tacticool rooftop landing and some quick building clearing. And then AAF showed up and applied a Razor to our team. The survivors threw in the towel and withdrew under some very accurate HMG fire. Sadly, they died in a helicopter crash a few minutes later (who could say how that happened). If only they'd known how close they'd gotten to the target...

The missions we played:
  • Kitchen Nightmares [Co-op]
  • Gunship Diplomacy [Co-op]
  • Hammer of the Gods [Co-op]
  • Razor Valentine [Co-op]
