17 devil dogs policed their mustaches and violence of action tempoed their way across three islands.

We started on a mountain hike around Stratis, blowing up some missile launchers and squashing very specific individuals with laser guided artillery. Thanks to some well placed AT cluster mines artillery, we held off several platoons of reinforcements and made our escape.

After that, we hit the tiny island of Pythos off the coast of Stratis. Here we had to clear out bunker after bunker of hardened AAF troops on top of some damn rock in the ocean. The boat carrying ASL and Medic got hit before we could even make landfall, and from their it was a crawl forward inch by inch. We got it done though.

Third, and the last one for our Marines, we raided some CSAT positions on Tanoa. We managed to keep our pace up for the first two objectives, but got bogged down by the HMG we were avoiding going into the third. Having spent too much time reaching the final objective, CSAT rolled in several squads of reinforcements to cut us off. And, but that point, our FO had been killed, leaving us outgunned and outmatched. None made it back.

Finally, a quick detour from USMC grunt work, a small band of CTRG specialists hit an HVT compound. Things are never easy, and sometimes your helo takes a rocket seconds after you have disembarked. We struggled into the HVT compound, cleared it, and were fortunate to have another bird on standby to recover us. Double fortunate that the compound had tall walls and a clear courtyard, because dozens of enemy infantry were beginning to encircle us.
