[Sun] 30th June 2024 (Destroyers of Helicopters)

12 awesome folks came along for this night of destroying helicopters (and other things). Many big booms were had.

First up, we flew into a compound to kill some CSAT advisers and blow up the helicopter they rode in on. In and out, no casualties (apart from CSAT and their helicopter of course).

Next, we took some heavy weapons into a Valley to destroy some CSAT... not helicopter Marids and steal their supplies. We managed half of that, blowing their Marids sky high, before being picked off one by one in a failed attempt to steal the supply truck.

After that, half of us were stuck on Altis with a downed helicopter and the rest searched for them in a Cougar. We unfortunately didn't find them in time to help (except with a body bag), but we did manage to really blow up their helicopter in their honour on the way out.

Finally we hit the desert to destroy a bunch of NATO helicopters. Things went well retrieving our supply truck from NATO, but things started going wrong when it was destroyed en-route to the NATO base by a long AT shot from a patrol. The rest of us still tried to assault the base to destroy what we could, but were shot to pieces as we ran down the dune into in the base. At least our AA team did manage to get a couple of the flying helicopters that were harassing us, so not a total lose.

The missions we played:
  • HS,LD (VII) [Co-op]
  • Valley [Co-op]
  • Little CSARs [Co-op]
  • Enemy Mine [Co-op]
