We started with an amphibious raid on some CSAT coastal defenses. Our intel that we were attacking anti-ship missiles was revealed to be slightly inaccurate when one of the ASMs deleted our support helicopter. Nevertheless, and with another two helicopters, we managed to knock out the targets with 100% casualties.
Next up, we did some light helicopter antics in the southern hills of Altis. This was extremely methodical, one LZ to another, popping the designated targets with some extra long distance AT shots.
Third in the list (technically) was an ill-fated ground assault on foot towards a hill on Malden. The AAF defenders were having none of it though and instantly vaporized our assault element with a single mortar shot.
Finally, properly, we made a pickup truck raid on some other compounds in Malden. This one went fairly smoothly until a dust cloud of one pickup caused the following pickup to rear end the first, leading to some disorder as two squads of AAF bore down on us. The brave survivors fought like hell in the final compound and managed to place a timed bomb on some of the final objectives before being knocked down by the relentless AAF.
